2:30 PM ZOOM Join the global dance activation and experience a transformational dance immersion with Global Dance Artist & Cultural Ethnologist, Kimberly Miguel Mullen.
Through a series of guided rhythmic movements, dancers will embody elements of Afro-Cuban, AfroBrazilian, and Afro-Caribbean sacred and popular cultural dance traditions to a pulsating soundtrack of percussive drum beats by the world’s best Cuban & Brazilian percussionists.

Here it is! After immersing myself inside the study of African diaspora cultural dance practices both in and outside of the Caribbean, Cuba, and Brazil for the past 25-years and then spending the past 15-years choreographing and performing in Dance DVDs…
I am over the moon excited to merge my two worlds: the study of ancestral dances practices with the modern technologies of digital media.
Although I never could have imagined owning my own dance studio, it’s been a lifelong dream to create an educational platform that would help share the healing powers of these resilient dance practices.
