Choreographer, instructor, and performer born and raised in Brazil, Renata Secco has been involved in dance, movement and performance since her early teens. She has studied Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Brazilian Folkloric and Traditional forms. Renata immigrated to the U.S. in 2001 and has been a professional dance instructor and performer in the United States and Abroad.

Renata teaches weekly samba classes at The Movement Dance Center for all levels, beginners through advanced, in addition to presenting dance workshops by renowned Brazilian Master Dance teachers specifically to the San Diego dance community.
